by this magazine’s editor, Tim Richman (1995B). Celebrating
the Springboks’ winning campaign at the Rugby World Cup
in France, Back to Back includes first-person accounts from all
the players, head coach Jacques Nienaber and director of rugby
Rassie Erasmus, as well as Matthew’s detailed match reports of
all seven of the Boks’ Tests. It’s a vivid account crammed with
full-colour action photography and behind-the-scenes images
from the Trophy Tour, recognising not just the on-field team,
but also the management “team behind the team”, and the fans
and supporters who kept the fire blazing back home. The book is
