Geoff de Wet
(1964G) studied
architecture at
UCT, completing
practical training
with Denys
Lasdun & Partners in London before
graduating in 1971. Among his notable
designs in private practice are the
Groote Schuur Hospital nurses’ home
(in consortium) and several special
schools. He led UCT’s Physical
Planning Unit from 1989 to 2012,
before becoming an associate at
PSP Icon, a management consultancy
with a large university client base.
He continues to practise architecture,
specialising in academic library design
and university campus planning.
