The ODU calendar has stayed full these six months, from reunions and
informal lunches to various sports events and talks on history, AI and
the Anthropocene. But the highlight, as ever, remains the annual dinner
OD DINNER, CAPE TOWN
The annual OD dinner in Cape Town was held later than
usual this year, on 11 June, though the ballroom at Kelvin
Grove remained the venue. It was once again a splendid
evening filled with camaraderie, connection and good fun
with old friends. A particular highlight of the evening was
Chairman of Council Niall Carroll’s address, which set out
a compelling vision for the future of Bishops and provided
much food for thought among those present. A sincere
thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make
the evening such a memorable success.
